Later Never Came

This portrait series was inspired by the book Call Me by Your Name. I was captivated by its aching beauty, the language of longing and quiet sadness, threaded with sun-drenched moments of nostalgia.

 

I set out to translate that lush, intimate, cinematic world into this portrait series. The series name comes from the last conversation the main characters have which ends them both saying "later."
